The French cultural center (CCF), located in the Esteqlal high-school, reopened in November 2003, after more than 20 years of interruption.
CCF aims at promoting cultural diversity as well as French language and culture. Concerts, theater plays, exhibitions and movies are organized with Afghan and French artists in its brand new 550 seat auditorium, equipped with up-to-date facilities thanks to the support of the cultural French-German channel Arte, and its large exhibition space.
The CCF offers French lessons for all levels, from teenagers to adults, with thouroughly selected teachers, and organizes offical French language tests (DELF and DALF).
A 4.000 book library equipped with internet is also available.
